Lake Albert Pony Club ($4000), The Rock-Yerong Creek Football Netball Club ($6094), The Rock Memorial Bowling Club ($15,476), Wagga Rugby League ($15,000), Football Wagga ($18,000) and Wagga Croquet Club ($4000) all got a piece of the $300,000 of funding in the Wagga electorate.

In the Cootamundra electorate, Coolamon Cricket Club ($20,000), Cootamundra Country Club ($25,388), Cootamundra Turf Club ($15,000), Illabo Sporting Bodies ($24,912), Narrandera Shire Council ($30,300), the Temora branch of the NSW Greyhound Breeders and Trainers Association ($8397) received funding.

Football Wagga received $18,000 for portable goals for Rawlings Park.

Wagga Rugby League will use the $15,000 for irrigation, turf and the erection of permanent fencing at Equex Centre.

The Rock-Yerong Creek will replace the existing goal posts with their $6094, while The Rock Memorial Bowling Club will use the $15,476 for a kitchen upgrade and disabled access.

Lake Albert Pony Club will build a new amenities block with $4000, while Wagga Croquet Club will spend $4000 on the resurfacing the courts.

Temora’s greyhound track will be improved with solar panels and children’s playground equipment and shade sails, courtesy of two grants of $5897 and $2500.

Coolamon Cricket Club will spend $20,000 on new cricket training nets, while Narrandera Shire Council will spend $30,300 on lighting at Barellan Sportsground.

Cootamundra Country Club will spend their $25,388 for a cart pathway construction, while Cootamundra Turf Club received $15,000 for painting the racecourse grandstand.

Illabo Sporting Bodies got $24,912 for Illabo Pride.

In the Albury electorate, Tumbarumba Polocrosse Club received $29,000 for an upgrade to their canteen.

Member for Wagga Daryl Maguire was thrilled to help organisations in his electorate.

“This grassroots funding will directly benefit our community and deliver vital new infrastructure,” Maguire said.
