The pair were awarded life membership during the Hawks’ annual general meeting last week.
Breust is Temora’s finest AFL product, while Smith hails from Cootamundra and also spent time at Wagga Tigers.
Breust, Smith and teammates Josh Gibson and Liam Shields all reached 150 club games for Hawthorn during the 2017 season.
Breust reached the milestone in round 10 when the silky forward became the fasted Hawk in history to reach 150 career games.
Since making his debut in round eight 2011, Breust has missed just three games, and won the same number of premierships.
Smith, also a three-time premiership player, reached his 150th game in the round 16 draw with Greater Western Sydney.
