The group - which includes Lake Albert defender Kane Baumer, Cootamundra foundation member Mick Godbier and Henwood Park striker Jake Ploenges - will wince their way through a hellacious waxing in the name of Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Wax for a Wish program.
The crew has set itself a fundraising target of $10,000 and has raised more than $5,500 so far.
Screams of pain are expected to be heard across Wagga from 7pm on Friday, with the waxing to take place at Gissing Oval.
