Raiders showed plenty of grit when the chips were down, storming back from a 4-2 three quarter time deficit to force the draw at the death.
Will De Jong lead the goalscoring for the Raiders, finding the net on two occasions, while Dolphins captain Shaun Bennett did the same for his side.
In the other men's game, Octopuses Pink toppled Octopuses Black 7-4.
Black's defence had no answers for the unsolvable problem that was Larn White, who scored a whopping five goals for the Pink side.
Chris Mumme fought valiantly for Black, scoring a hat-trick of his own.
Despite being prone to slow starts, Pink managed all seven of their goals in the first three quarters to jump out to a commanding lead and put the game to bed well before the final whistle.
Pink’s next task will be taking on Dolphins on Tuesday, while Black will do battle with Raiders.
In the women's competition, Raiders and Dolphins mirrored their male counterparts with a 2-2 draw.
Dolphins left their run incredibly late, not finding the back of the net until the last quarter.
Raiders will now face Octopuses and Dolphins in a doubleheader on Monday.
