Beaches, rainforests, outback towns – with so many great places to visit in Australia, not to mention overseas, how do you choose where to go?
Your own backyard is often a great place to start, especially around Wagga and the Riverina.
Typically people do not visit the attractions closest to them. So take the time to go with family, friends or relatives visiting from out of town this summer holiday.
Take a day trip (or even stay overnight) in Coolamon or explore the Exclusive Hot Glass Gallery in West Wyalong.
Stay closer to Wagga and please your taste buds with a visit to the Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory.
How about trying something new or getting your New Year’s resolution happening early in Wagga at Simp-Lee Yoga.
Or even learn more about Wagga’s past at the Wagga Rail Heritage Museum.
Not only will staying close to home give you a chance to explore the things you often drive past but it will save you some money with no large plane tickets, fuel bills or accomodation to pay for.
Spending money locally is also great for the community by boosting the local economy.
