They will play Turvey Park in the first of the games and follow that up with a match against South Wagga Warriors.
As has been well-chronicled, the Saints defence is good, led by the battery of Tessa McGlynn and Kadison Hofert, but their offence hasn’t produced a winning score yet.
There’s undoubtedly the potential to put runs on the board with such players as Gemma McGlynn, Desi Calder, Tessa McGlynn, Hofert and Sarah Rose, but they can’t seem to produce consistency.
Turvey Park, on the other hand is statistically the best batting side in the competition, but will miss one of their best with the unavailability of Amanda Gooden.
Turvey will look to cover her loss with the likes of Amanda Lenon, Belinda Dennis, Sarah Carter, Julie-Ann Hallam and Jade Olsen getting on base.
Turvey Park should win, but if the Saints had a chance of breaking the ice, this Saturday could well be the time.
The Saints then have to tackle the might of the Warriors who are sailing along nicely, well on course for their fourth consecutive premiership.
It’s a tall order for the Saints and rest assured, the Warriors will show no mercy.
Led by the Kearnes trio, Jane, Montana and Layhnee, the Warriors have in form players with the bat, such as Jess Swaysland, Shae Skillen, Sam O’Neill and Kira Hallam.
Despite what will be thrown at them by either Sarah Rose or Tessa McGlynn, the Warriors bats should produce a winning score.
