The green side prevailed 8-1 at Oasis on Monday night. Leah Dodd was in hot form in front of goals for Raiders, finishing with a hat-trick.
Two of her goals came in a dominant final quarter which saw Raiders pile on four goals to rub salt into the Octopuses’ wounds.
Sharni Salau joined in with two goals of her own.
It was a scrappy game with the frustrated Octopuses picking up a staggering seven major fouls.
Lauren Nugent, Claudia Nugent and Edy Wintle all picked up two.
Octopuses didn't have to wait long to take out their frustration, smacking Dolphins 13-0 later in the night.
Claudia Nugent led the scoring onslaught with four goals, and was well supported by Georgie Yates who chimed in with three.
