Clark will fly to Fiji on Saturday where he will spend a week, playing and experiencing all the country has to offer.
A student at Mater Dei Catholic College, Clark was selected in the Flying Boomerangs after impressing with his leadership potential.
His form at Eastlakes-MCU was also taken into account.
The Flying Boomerangs will take part in the Oceania Cup, where they play the likes of Fiji, Tonga, Nauru and Vanautu.
Clark, 15, can’t wait to experience the trip.
“It should be good,” Clark said.
“We have eight days in Fiji and play two games against other teams.”
As well as play, the Boomerangs experience an all day cultural activity, visit Yanuca Island and undergo a number of different sessions.
Former Geelong star Matthew Stokes oversees the Boomerangs.
Clark has been doing pre-season at MCUE, where he has impressed senior coach Travis Cohalan.
“He’s a really good young kid,” Cohalan said.
“He’s got excellent talent and worked hard on his game last year with Dicko (coach Andrew Dickins).
“We definitely see him pushing for a first grade game this year, despite him only being 15.”
