While looking to put the horror effort behind them they’ve also put in plenty of work at training in the two weeks since losing to Lake Albert.
“It was just a bad day for everyone I think,” Cats captain Josh Thompson said.
“We’ve been working pretty hard in the nets and have had a few conversations over the week to see where we are at and I don’t think we are doing too much wrong.
“I think we all had a bad day and were too confident.
“It was shot selection that did get us out.”
Things don’t get any easier taking on a Colts outfit yet to taste defeat.
Wagga City need to make three changes to their team as well.
Dean Crane, Mitch Cawley and Cane Graetz are all out with Sam McCready set to make his first grade debut.
However they do welcome back coach Jon Nicoll from the poor showing against Lake Albert.
