Wagga jewellery store Boleek managed to hold out a break-in attempt after thieves were spooked by security early Wednesday morning.

Police say would-be thieves smashed a glass door of the Sister City Arcade in Baylis Street about 2.30am before trying to force their way into Boleek until the alarm activated and frightened them off.
It’s the second jewellery store in just over a week after Diamonds on Baylis was robbed of $20,000 in stock.
Police investigating say the break-ins may be linked.
