The Aussies won the tournament for the second consecutive year in sweltering conditions, downing Thailand 12-3 in the final on Sunday.
The win marks another high point in Gallaher’s continued rise in the sport, having left Wagga at a young age to pursue her dreams in Sydney.
Gallaher is the only Wagga player to have played in the Australian Country team.
She has previously represented NSW, and has played for Wagga at the NSW Country Club Championships.
Gallaher played alongside Leah Dodd, who competes in the Wagga competition.
