Murray Leo Riley, 20, is charged with intentionally or recklessly damaging property and aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence.
It is alleged Riley broke into the home aware that people were present on November 19, damaging a rear Colorbond gate.
He failed to appear at Wagga Local Court on Monday, after his arrest on Sunday.
