While the threat of rain forced the session indoors, the young Colts were thrilled to have Bolton, who played in the Women’s Ashes Test match last week, on hand for plenty of advice.
Bolton is the sister of Colts coach David Bolton and made a quick trip to Wagga after captaining the Governor General XI’s team.
They lost to England in the tour match.
Bolton has played 45 matches for Australia, mostly in the one-day set up, but has has played in two Tests including the draw in Sydney were Ellyse Perry made her double double century.
She participated in some drills with the Colts juniors before handing out all the kids got a signed bat.
The Colts gave the 28-year-old an honourary number, 172.
