The big beauty is the result of months of hard work by inmates at the Junee Correctional Centre and one rev head will be lucky enough to take her home.
The immaculately restored ute has toured around the state including to Henty for the field days and the Bathurst 1000 selling raffle tickets to raise funds for Junee Can Assist.
“You’ve only got to look at it to see how good it is and of course what it looks like is just one part of the story,” offender services manager Trevor Coles said.
“So many of our TAFE students participated and they’ve taken real ownership of the project.”
The ute has already hit the original goal of $50,000 and is gunning for $60,000 with just two weeks left to get your name in the hat.
“It’s great to see locals helping locals and giving back in such a meaningful way,” Natalie Phillips from Junee Can Assist said.
She will be on proud display at Supercheap all day Saturday, November 18.
Tickets are also available online at rafflelink.com.
