Little, 17, signed a three-year contract with the Raiders on Tuesday after impressing at a trial last month.
The fresh-faced speedster is bursting with excitement after formally committing to the club.
“It’s every kid’s dream,” he said.
“If you play rugby league, of course you want to make the NRL.”
“It’s another step closer to where I want to be. “
The youngster has already started training with his new squad, travelling to Canberra twice a week, and said he was loving the experience.
“You get guys like Ricky Stuart coming in and talking to us and they get some of the NRL players to have a chat with us too,” he said.
“Hearing from those guys and how they got to where they are with all that hard work, it really makes you stop and listen.”
Having recently finished year 12 at Wagga High School, Little will pack up and move to the nation’s capital after Christmas.
It’s a prospect which has him a little nervous.
“Being away from family and everything, it’s a really big move.”
The Wagga local previously represented the South Sydney Rabbitohs at under 16 level.
