Council has announced it will take submissions on a draft floodplain plan until Wednesday, December 6.
Acting general manager James Bolton said it would give people more time to review the draft documents, which were quite technical.
“We want to make sure everyone has time to make a considered submission,” he said. “I encourage (everyone) to take the time to read through the documents and make a submission.”
The study and plan can be viewed online or at the Civic Centre.
