The Victory Memorial Gardens were awash with a sea of colour as Year 12 pupils from Mater Dei Catholic College and Kildare Catholic College posed for pictures.
Dressed in their finest flowing gowns and sharpest suits, the students revelled in having finally left the pressure of the all-consuming HSC exams behind.
The event was one of several the pupils will experience in the coming weeks as the curtain comes down on 12 years of schooling.
The formals offered the schools’ Year 12 students an opportunity to relax and socialise before their HSC results are released on December 14.
