The $8 fancy ran down heavily backed favourite Cash Crisis in race six at Albury, the Birdcage Albury Fashion Boutique Open Handicap (1175m), to claim a first-up win and deny Craig Widdison a second victory for the day, after the Wodonga trainer found success in race two with Wyangle.

“They’ve given me a lot of support over the years.”
