THE meals at Cache Store of Food had always been renowned and that reputation is set to continue, post the required fire renovations.
Cache has not only installed a state-of-the-art kitchen, but there is now a new second preparation and serving area with three points of service.
This new area, to the left of the entry, will feature a dessert cabinet and sushi display fridge.
There will be two sushi chefs making food daily.
A new “health bar” will be producing juice and smoothies with a servery window to the street.
A high-tech, state-of-the-art, three-group Aviator coffee machine has been installed, as well as what is known as a Juggler, which accurately portions milk instead of pouring it from a carton or bottle.
We are doing a lot of corporate and private catering.

On the other side of the café entry, the main kitchen has been completely reconfigured.
This includes a new pass-through, new state-of-the-art ovens and a bigger cool room and freezer.
While the function room is no more, Cache will continue it’s reputation for catering.
“Most people in Wagga know Cache do a lot of catering and functions,” owner Anthony Chambeyron said.
“We’ve done a lot of people’s weddings, but the off-site catering is new. We are doing a lot of corporate and private catering.”
Cache Group employs 16 full-time chefs, working under group head chef Renee Chambeyron.
There are another 70 staff, including casual and weekend staff, with Cache Store of Food itself employing 45 workers.
