Smeeth will be a big out for the Bulls when they tackle Wagga RSL for a place in the final later that night.
Smeeth is joined by Scott Billington, Isaac Cooper and Danny Webber in coming out of the team.
However Ryan Jamieson returns, and will step up to vice-captain.
Simon Blacka also comes in while Kurt Robertson has been given the captaincy duties.
Smeeth is looking to control the Bulldogs impact with the ball.
He believes it the key to getting the win.
“They are a dangerous side and have a pretty dangerous bowling attack,” Smeeth said.
“We know that if we can put a reasonable total on the board they one have two or three batsmen who could really worry us.
“It is just a case of managing their attack in the first few overs.”
