Janine and Marty O'Callaghan are long-time supporters of the Black Dog Ride and were at the school on Thursday to talk about the work of the Black Dog Institute’s efforts to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention nationally.
This year, as supporters from around Australia get ready for a Black Dog Ride to Tasmania, the O’Callaghans are planning a novel way to raise awareness.
As the Black Dog Institude’s special focus this year is on the mental health of defence personnel and emergency workers, the couple were on Thursday planning to have military-style “buzz” cuts.
