Police have arrested a man allegedly involved in a domestic incident at Gundagai over the weekend.

The 46-year-old man allegedly became involved in an altercation with a 39-year-old woman on Sunday night where threats were allegedly made.
The man was tracked to an address in Tom Street, Gundagai where police and specialist negotiators established a perimeter which lasted more than seven hours on Monday, before they discovered the man was no longer inside the premises.
The man was arrested by police about 8.30am on Tuesday and taken to Tumut Police Station where he is now assisting police with inquiries.
Police have offered their thanks to the public for coming forward with information which assisted them in finding the man.
