An unbeaten century from Wagga City coach Jon Nicoll helped the Cats to a massive win over St Michaels on Saturday.

Nicoll finished unbeaten on 102 as Wagga City posted a mammoth 2-200 from their 20 overs.
Despite a good win to start the season last week, Saints never looked in the contest.
With plenty of scoreboard pressure, they slumped early before being bowled out for 63 in the 19th over.
Only two batsmen made it two double figures in the 137-run loss.
Captain-coach Ryan Forsyth made 12 while Aidan Ridley chimed in late to top score with 14.
Captain Josh Thompson thought Nicoll showed yet again while he’s rated a clear standout in the competition.
“It’s a massive win and I’m very stoked by the performance of the boys,” Thompson said.
“We picked a lot of young kids, but you can’t really go far past the performance of Jon Nicoll.
“I think it was outstanding and a hundred in Twenty20 is something you can’t miss.”
Nicoll was not the only one who impressed with the bat for the Cats.
While his 64-ball innings featured nine fours and a six there was plenty of big hitting from Aaron Maxwell and Josh Thompson.
Maxwell made 30, most courtesy of boundaries, before giving a return catch to James Evans to be the first man out.
However Thompson soon filled the void as he finished unbeaten on 56 off just 30 balls.
He struck three boundaries and two sixes to really accelerate the Cats at the end.
Thompson was also thrilled with the performance of young paceman Tex Lindsay.
“He bowled awesome,” he said.
Lindsay finished his three overs with the impressive figures of 4-13.
Not only did he removed Forsyth but had caught for 0 and came back into the attack to remove Ridley.
He played a big part in a young bowling attack.
“I’ve very happy with the kids,” Thompson said.
“They are doing a fantastic job.”
Adam Newcombe claimed three wickets, including that of English recruit Michael Mitchell after his unbeaten 70 last week.
While Max Harper returned to the team following the under 17s national championship and took two wickets.
The heavy defeat ended St Michaels’ chance at making it into the final weekend of the competition.
Wagga City will play South Wagga, which is a rematch from last year’s grand final, in the semi-finals on Saturday with the final to follow hours later.
