It was a touch of Spring Racing at the Botanic Gardens Restaurant for the final Miss Wagga fundraiser of 2017.

More than 80 people attended the afternoon High Tea, which included a silent auction and raffle, and entertainment from Harry Mangelsdorf.

Guest speakers Janice Summerhayes from Wagga City Council, and Wagga architect Gioia Gianniotis.

“They were very inspiring and so well spoken,” Miss Wagga entrant Sarah Brunskill said.

“The highlight has been going on this journey with the other girls over the year. We couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a Sunday.”

All money raised will help seven beneficiaries including; Country Hope, Ronald McDonald House, Wagga Women’s Health Centre and the Amy St Clair Foundation.

The crowning ceremony for Miss Wagga 2017 will be held at the Wagga Art Gallery on November 4.
