Business owner and mother Denise Taylor has decided to take time to focus on her own family, after dedicating years to families across the region.
With settlement set for Monday, Ms Taylor spent her last day as an official owner on Sunday.
“I’ll still be here for another week or two but all going well, today will be my last day as an owner,” Ms Taylor said.
“We have another business but this was the one we gave up since it’s the one that takes up the most time.”
Expecting a sad final day ahead, Ms Taylor said she wanted to thank all the local families for their support.
“I am going to miss it and all the kids and mums I’ve gotten to know over the years but I know I have to go,” she said.
“The thing I really love is when you get little kids walking in that haven’t been here before and they just go – oh wow.”
Ms Taylor said she wanted to wish the new owner, a Wagga local, good luck.
“She’s a lovely lady and I believe she’ll do a great job for this just as I did,” she said.
