The annual Riverina Truck Show and Kids Convoy drove from Bomen through North Wagga and down Tarcutta Street, before heading to Lake Albert’s Apex Park for a day of fun car displays.
Event organiser Leanne Deacon said the group hopes to raise $50,000 between the two charities.
“NETS New South Wales isn’t supported by the government and they need more money to keep going,” she she said.
“They’re quite dear to the hearts of a few people in the convoy and we decided to support Ronald McDonald Housse after suggestions from some community members.”
