A crowd of over 100 people turned out for Colour 4 Kids event with a special youth benefit concert put on to raise money for the community group.
PCYC club manager Blake Dunn was excited at the turn out and had high hopes the event would turn into an annual occasion.
“It’s great to see so many people take the time out and come down on such a hot day,” he said.
“We really want to turn the colour run into an annual event and are hoping to do the next one in April 2018 to coincide with youth week.”
The money raised will go toward purchasing new equipment for the PCYC and updating some of their police programs.
