There’s not a lot that can stop veteran rockers Grinspoon in their tracks, but a nimble fan managed to do just that in Wagga.

The band played to a crowd of hundreds at the university’s Crow Bar on Wednesday night as part of a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of debut album Guide To Better Living. Playing the album from start to finish, Grinspoon proved they could still rock out as hard as they did back in the 90s.
Not once did they show any sign of easing off the pace, playing their way through crowd surfers and minor scuffles in the crowd.
However, the show was brought to a halt when a fan climbed into the rafters, dropped his trousers and exposed himself to the band.
“You can’t unsee that,” lead singer Phil Jamieson chuckled, before playfully suggesting guitarist Pat Davern return the favour.
Once the fan was pulled down from the ceiling and escorted outside by security, Jamieson gave a quick “one, two, three, four” and the band picked up where they had left off.
After performing the album, Grinspoon took a short break before returning to the stage to play their later, more radio-friendly hits, closing the show with an energetic performance of More Than You Are.
Still, to long-time fans of the band (and there were plenty in the crowd), it was good to see the “Grinners” back in action again.
