The Australians will take on China in a two-game international series to be held in Melbourne and Geelong in November, and Sports Minister John Eren is confident the team will draw close to capacity crowds.
The first game will be held at at AAMI Park on November 22, while the other will be at Simonds Stadium in Geelong on November 26.
Eren said the series was an opportunity for the Matildas to showcase their talent, boost women's sports as well as attract more tourists to Victoria.
"We are so proud of our Matildas. We want the Matildas to shine," Eren said.
"They are doing a great job in putting us not only on the map worldwide, but also giving our future generation the inspiration that is required."
The Matildas have been on a winning streak, beating Brazil 2-1 in front of 15,000 people in Penrith before heading to Newcastle on Tuesday night and winning 3-2 in front of 16,829 fans - a record for a standalone Matildas home game.
It was a different scenario last year at the Rio Games when they lost to hosts Brazil in the quarter-finals.
The Matildas also won August's Tournament of Nations in California, where they trounced USA, Japan and Brazil in the space of eight days.
After their win on Saturday night, Matildas' midfielder Chloe Logarzo told Fairfax Media "everyone loves people who have got fight, and I feel like that's what we've captured".
Matilda's co-captain Lisa De Vanna, who scored in Penrith, said at Wednesday's press conference her team was having a fantastic run.
"The past 10 days have been surreal, the amount of interest and support we have for the Matildas has been fantastic and to have two more international games in November in Australia for us is great," De Vanna said.
"We are hoping that we can keep the momentum and keep growing as a football team."
