Lucia Bohnsacki is from Einbeck, a small village in northern Germany and was in Henty through a foreign exchange school trip.
She grew up on a farm and said she was fascinated to see the differences between German and Australian agriculture and livestock industries.
We don’t have any livestock, so it’s interesting to see all the sheep and how farmers work with dogs to get them all rounded up

“It’s always cool to see all of this new stuff, especially because I’m from a farm myself,” she said.
“I think it’s really interesting to see everything in general; obviously (in Australia) it’s a lot bigger but it’s alright because for example, our soil is a lot better so we would get more corn from a hectare than an Australian farmer would.
“Australia has so many sheep and animals like that; my father only grows produce.
“We don’t have any livestock, so it’s interesting to see all the sheep and how farmers work with dogs to get them all rounded up.”
