It’s just a dollar or two, but if every shopper who visits the Sturt Mall on Thursday contributes a gold coin, the results could lead to big change.

For just one day, the Sturt Mall is hosting Big Change for Small Change and all the money raised will go to the paediatric unit at Wagga Rural Referral Hospital.
There are some special activities planned and some of the centre’s shops have special offers and give-aways planned.
The mall’s doors will open at 9am and there will be a kids’ craft zone, balloon bending and face painting between 10am and 3pm.
In what’s believed to be an Australian first for a retail property group, the Sturt Mall is one 10 Dexus-managed shopping centres nationally that will take part in the event.
In every case, money raised is going to children’s health care.
“Supporting families with young children is central to Sturt Mall,” centre manager Kane Harding said.
“We see this as an important way to give back and make a difference in our local community.
“The response we’ve had from our retailers, local community organisations and media partners has been overwhelming.
“Everyone has come together to create a full program of entertainment, offers and fun for the community to enjoy. We invite everyone to join us and raise much needed funds for local children’s health services on this day.”
