Saturday October 7
12.30 to 2.30pm: Official opening.
Ganmain Public School, who also celebrates their 125th anniversary this year, will host the official opening welcoming everyone to enjoy school tours and a light luncheon.
A special part of this event will be the display of contents from a time capsule buried by past students, families and staff 25 years ago at the town’s Centenary.
3pm: Street Parade.
Local schools, sporting clubs and community organisations are busy preparing floats to participate in a Street Parade.
Sure to be a spectacle the parade will be led by Leeton Town Band and also includes some special surprise guests.
4.30pm: Time capsule opening.
Ganmain Haystack Time Capsule Another time capsule laid by members of the public at the town’s Centenary will be raised at the Haystack Museum.
Its contents will be displayed in the Town Hall.
The Ganmain Haystack Restoration Project, including new signage and video footage will also be officially unveiled.

From 5pm: Community Dinner under the Stars.
Everyone is invited to enjoy dinner under the stars on Saturday evening in the town’s main street.
Closed to traffic to create a relaxed atmosphere patrons can bring a picnic or enjoy dinner from a variety of food stalls.
The alcohol ban has been lifted for the evening so alcohol is permitted and live band Inside Out will perform on stage ensuring the crowd has a fantastic night out while children are entertained by Old Kentucky Animal Farm and giant yard games.
Sunday October 8
9am to 3pm: Time capsule display.
Time capsule contents on display in the Town Hall.
9.30am to 11am:
Brunch in the Victory Memorial Garden.
11.30am
Ecumenical Service in the park.
1.30pm to 4.30pm: Historical Society Museum tours.
Ganmain Historical Museum invites everyone to take a step back in time and visit the Ganmain Historical Museum which displays vintage machinery, furniture, clothing, household implements and much more, all an important testament to our past.
