The PCYC is behind the Colour 4 Kids initiative with a special youth benefit concert to be held to raise money for the community group.
PCYC club manager Blake Dunn said it will be a family friendly event.
"The colour run will have various activities throughout the day," Mr Dunn said.
"We'll run some of our kids programs, we’ll have a kindy gym which targets zero to five-year-olds and we'll also run some ball sports for the older primary school kids."
The colour run will start at Bolton Park and trail through Robertson Oval this Saturday at 10:30am, followed by the youth concert at 12:30pm.
It will be the PCYC’s major fundraising event for year and Mr Dunn has high hopes the experience will turn into a regular event.
"This will be our inaugural event but we're looking at turning it into something annual," he said.
“The money raised will go toward our police programs, updating some of our activity equipment, and getting some new equipment so we can help do more for the community.”
Kids under five receive free entry with an adult pass that costs $45 while a family pass for two children and adults costs $90. Head to colour4kids.eventbrite.com to secure your tickets.
