Steam Punk enthusiasts open themselves up to a fantasy world

For one night a year Wagga residents can transport themselves to a different world – an alternate reality powered by steam.

Enthusiasts can emerge themselves in all things science fiction at the fourth annual Steampunk ball, with all proceeds going toward Wagga’s Demonstration Gardens.

“Our outfits are all about recycling and reusing to go along with the gardening theme,” Ms Rendina said.

Wagga residents have spent countless hours preparing their outfits, with Ms Rendina creating a hat from old boots and a belt from a handbag.

The ball will be held on September 23 at the North Wagga Hall.

Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for concession and children are welcome for $5.
