Six of the seven opposition coaches believe Temora will be too good for Marrar, with only Tom Yates tipping the Bombers.
Northern Jets coach Mitch Robinson said everything points to Temora.
“Temora has been the form side of the competition in the second half of the year and they know what it takes to win a grand final,” Robinson said.
“This match will be won in the midfield battle.”
Barellan counterpart Matt Irvin, who used to play with the Bombers, agrees.
“Temora’s form has been trending upwards in recent weeks and unfortunately Marrar has suffered some late injuries to key players during the finals,” Irvin said.
Yates believe Marrar will have learnt valuable lessons from the second semi-final loss.
“Marrar will win because they will have a better game plan then when they last played Temora last time,” Yates said.
WHAT THE COACHES SAID
Matt Irvin (Barellan)
Prediction: Temora
Temora’s form has been trending upwards in recent weeks and unfortunately Marrar has suffered some late injuries to key players during the finals.
Gavin McMahon (EWK)
Prediction: Temora
Similar to TRYC in 2015 they have been building gradually all year. A well balanced versatile side. Their talls could be the difference.
Tom Yates (TRYC)
Prediction: Marrar
Marrar will win because they will have a better game plan then when they last played Temora last time.
Daniel Athanitis (CSU)
Prediction: Temora
I think Temora will win. They have probably had the better preparation and their list seems healthy.
Mitch Robinson (Northern Jets)
Prediction: Temora
Temora has been the form side of the competition in the second half of the year and they know what it takes to win a Grand Final. This match will be won in the midfield battle.
Michael Griffiths (Coleambally)
Prediction: Temora
Both teams have quality midfielders but the Temora forward line may be too dangerous for the Marrar defence to control.
Kirk Hamblin (North Wagga)
Prediction: Temora
Temora have hit form at the right time of the year. I think their key forwards will be too hard to contain.
