Be sure to check your mailbox, as residents across the city should have received a letter from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The survey form contains simple “yes” or “no” checkboxes to the question:
“Should the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry”?
The $122 million postal survey was given the High Court’s green light last week and letters were sent three-days later on September 13.
The official deadline for collection is Tuesday, November 7 at 6pm, but residents are urged to have their response in the mail before October 27.
