Kennedy came off during the third quarter of last Saturday’s loss to Leeton-Whitton with a groin injury.
He is no certainty to line-up at Robertson Oval on Sunday and Collingullie-Glenfield Park captain-coach Luke Gestier said they are not prepared to risk Kennedy.
“We’ll see how he trains but at this stage we’re erring on the side of caution with him,” Gestier said.
“Just because we don’t want to go in and find ourselves a man down straight away and that hurt us.
“I’m confident he’ll play but we’ll just have to wait and see.”
Gestier himself started on the bench last weekend as he continues to battle problems with his knee.
He said he will start on the field against Griffith on Sunday.
“I’ll keep soldiering on,” he said.
