COURSE: There is a motorcycle course at Narrandera tomorrow.

A MOTORCYCLE Accident Scene Management Course is at the Narrandera Ex-servicemen’s Club on Sunday at 10.45am. The course will be subsidised by council – cost is $45.

The training is specifically designed for riders and covers accident scene management, emergency helmet removal, moving a casualty in danger, first aid and accident prevention.

GRONG Grong celebrated with due pomp and ceremony on September 9. They were first to christen the Grong Grong Highway deviation, embracing the change it will make in their lives. Resident engineer Peter Dawson said 30,000 tonnes of gravel was used in the project.

JUNIOR Eagles celebrated the season at Narrandera Race Club on September 9. The club finished runner-up in the club championships and won the under 13s netball premiership. Junior Eagle footballer of the year is Luke Argus and netballer is Lucy Litchfield.
