Henwood Park will need to topple Leeton on Sunday, while hoping Wagga United lose or draw with second-placed South Wagga, to have any chance of making the Leonard Cup finals.

Helping the Hawks’ cause will be the absence of Warriors’ leading goal scorer Anne Noonan, who will be nursing mild soreness before returning for the postseason the following week.
But don’t expect Henwood coach Peter Adams to keep one eye on United’s scoreline.
“I’m a firm believer in only worrying about the things you can control,” he said.
“We’re focused on our game and we’re confident we can have another good win against Leeton.
“We’ll be building for the finals in anticipation that we’ll be there.”
Currently managing a flu-riddled team, Adams said he would leave it until the last minute to name his final team.
Unlike Henwood Park, Wagga United’s destiny lies in their own hands.
A win would ensure the women in orange and white hold onto fourth spot and secure a finals berth.
But they will have to beat second-placed South Wagga without six of the their regular starters.
Jessica Smith, Chloe Antone, Molly Antone, Catherine Fsadni and Jessica Christian will all be unavailable.
“Luckily, we feel we have good depth to fill the void,” United coach Chris Driscoll said.
