The event has been steadily building for years and was at capacity for this year’s festivities.
Don Rubin stole the show on Saturday, impressing the judges and the crowd on its way to the FEI Big Tour title, while Michar emerged as the FEI Medium Tour champion.
Bradgate Park Delilah was victorious in the FEI Small Tour.
Ms Whittaker said she was thrilled with the locally-based event.
“It was definitely a very high standard this year,” she said.
The event was largely used as a warm up for the NSW Dressage Championships, which begins on August 31, but is not a qualifier for the state event.
Competitors flocked to Wagga from as far as Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra for the highly competitive three day competition.
