The future site of the Hildasid Community Farm was packed as 370 people raised glasses to the work of the organisation in supporting people with disabilities.
Kurrajong’s latest venture is currently in the building stage and proceeds from the day will go to the development of the farm.
“It was absolutely brilliant on every level, it truly was a community event,” Kurrajong development services manager Cathie Smith said.
A bubbling atmosphere with food by Nathan Gale and entertainment from the Kapooka acoustic band and local musicians had the guests hooked, with the last leaving around 10pm.
Jaegars and Coates Hire provided infrastructure free of charge.
