Sam Campbell-McCrea, Dan Osgood, Noyal Tharail and Peter Froon make up the band Heatstroke and will take the stage this Saturday at UBERfest.
The boys are students at Kildare Catholic College and parent Tracy McCrea said the weekends have been filled with rehearsals for the big performance.
“All of the boys have always been interested in music,” she said.
“They play a variety of different instruments and put this band together together to see how far they could go.
“They’ve already written a few songs they will be performing on the night as well.”
More than 30 other bands will be in attendance at the event that showcases some of “the best emerging musicians Australia wide”.
Each band member can either play the guitar, drums, bass, keyboard or saxophone, and Ms McCrae said music is something the boys will “definitely” pursue in the future.
“Their next wish is to record an album,” she said.
“Right now we’re just getting ready for the weekend and hope everything goes well on the night.”
