The Bulldogs won the toss and elected to kick into the breeze, and then went scoreless for the term as Tigers opened up a 28-point lead.
From there, Tigers were never headed as they ran out comfortable winners, 12.11 (83) to 4.10 (34).
Wagga Tigers captain-coach Shaun Campbell was happy with his team’s performance.
“We got off to a really good start, and kept the margin to three or four goals for most of the day and played some good footy,” Campbell said.
“It was another good performance, there was a bit more consistency and the boys played on the dice, a bit more risky footy, and it keeps us alive, which is the main thing.”
Nathan Dowdle was best-on-ground with a three goal effort for Tigers. The only concern was an ankle injury to Jackson Kew.
Turvey Park’s best were Matt Bailey and Jeremy Sykes.
The Bulldogs went in without assistant coach Truman Carroll, who after being cited by Coolamon for a high tackle during the week, accepted a three game suspension.
