Emergency services rushed to The Gap Road, 30 kilometres from Wagga, after 3.10pm on Friday, to find the young man trapped in his dual cab ute.
Paramedics treated the 24-year-old for head injuries and neck pain but said he was “otherwise okay”.
The region’s zone operations officer Eamonn Purcell said the young man was in a stable condition at Wagga’s hospital and the driver of the semi-trailer was unharmed.
