TRAC proved too good for their fellow Southern NSW finalists at Robertson Oval on Wednesday.
TRAC enjoyed big wins over Leeton’s St Francis de sales Regional College and Moama Grammar, holding them both goalless, before winning a thriller over Albury’s Xavier High School to take honours on the day.
A goal after the siren to Royce Hunter got TRAC over the line for a three-point win.
They now progress to the state finals in Albury on September 19 and 20.
Southern NSW AFL game development manager Marc Geppert said TRAC were deserved winners.
“They had some handy players running around in their team,” Geppert said.
“It was a day where if you won your three games you progressed, there was no final, so every game was important. Their last game against Xavier, the way it played out, was their final and they won with a goal after the siren.”
