The sporting organisation will be selling specially marked hats and beanies at the junior and senior hockey at Jubilee Park on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
The funds will go towards national charity Love Your Sister.
“This is our first opportunity to contribute through our sport and it's something we’re very passionate about,” Wagga Hockey president Ken Larkin said.
“It's something that’s really important to us, and more importantly, to the people who’re suffering from cancer.”
Wagga Hockey treasurer Karen Boyd said it was the least the sporting group could do.
“It's a tough process for people to go through, we’ve had members with cancers of different sorts,” she said.
