Dunn was a noticeable bystander last Sunday as Gundagai leapfrogged the Pickers to finish in second place with a 50-8 thrashing of Temora.
Dunn missed the final round win with tightness in the abductor but is 100 per cent ready to return after getting through training on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old will take his place for Gundagai when they face Young for the right to take on Southcity a week later.
“It’s good, I trained (Tuesday) night and I’ll definitely play on the weekend,” Dunn said.
“With the big games coming up, starting this weekend, I don’t want to miss any of them. It’s pretty tough watching on from the sidelines so I’d prefer to be out there with the boys, who are giving their all.”
Gundagai have started to get back to somewhere near their best with three consecutive wins to head into finals.
Dunn believes the Tigers must lift another level if they are to defeat Young on Sunday.
“I give us a good chance against any team, but we’ve obviously got to improve a bit,” he said.
“We’re not playing to our full potential, I believe, but we’re starting to get there.
“I believe we’ve got a good side there and we’ve performed pretty well to finish second and give ourselves the first weekend at home.”
The two teams have not met since round 12, when Young belted Gundagai 44-16 at Alfred Oval.
Dunn believes it is a clean slate come finals.
“That doesn’t have much implications to the game coming up,” he said.
“They were much better than us that day. We let ourselves down a lot with our completion rates and they took full advantage of that and put a big score on us.
“They were too good that day, but finals is a new competition and last time means nothing.”
