Skinner hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring in the 50-10 win over Gundagai four weeks ago.
While he tested out his leg at training on Thursday night he’s elected to be cautious.
“I was looking at playing but given that we are comfortable there (in first) and speaking to the physio the smartest thing to do was give it the extra week,” Skinner said.
It means he won’t play again until the major semi-final at Harris Park in a fortnight against the winner of the clash between Young and Gundagai.
Jake Dooley (ribs) and Scott Bowden (overseas holiday) should also be back for the game.
Now Steve Tracey will play at fullback to tackle the Brethren with Matt Tullberg coming in onto the wing.
Brothers have it all to play for and Skinner expects they will be fired up for the clash.
