The Boiled Lollies will tackle Tumut in the minor semi-final on Saturday.
The two teams only played each other a week ago, with Wagga City coming away 30-24 winners.
The Bulls scored late tries in the clash, after they took the points in the first round of the season, and Kanck is happy with where his team is at.
“It’s been bit of a disruptive week at training with ground closures, but we should be on the field (Thursday) and the boys are excited about it,” Kanck said.
“They are enjoying their football together and we want to play more rugby.”
Kanck believes the round 13 win is a good confidence booster.
Wagga City go into the clash unchanged with Michael Tuilau and Gordon Lagaali still out through injury.
