DRY weather will be needed if Sunday’s race meeting is to go ahead at Murrumbidgee Turf Club.

The Wagga track has received 34.5 millimetres of rain over the last eight days and is rated a heavy 10 ahead of Sunday’s meeting.

The Riverina Plaster Works 2017 Wagga Whiz (1000m) is the feature of the seven-race card and has attracted the likes of Baby Don’t Cry and Man Of Peace.

The nominations for the Whiz, and two other races on the card, have been extended until 11am on Wednesday.
